Metropolitan Meter Taxi System

After the invention of a taximeter machine in the late 1940s, companies started to collect service fares based on the taxi meter reading. A taximeter is a machine which, on the basis of a preset tariff ratio, helps to compute the fare for a given distance and the time it has taken to reach the destination.

Sheger will use these machine and other related high-tech devices by building customer confidence on the business. Our fare is determined based on the company's cost of operation. We try to reduce the operational costs to keep them as low as possible by using efficiency improving techniques. Some of them are: reducing idle travel using call centers, increasing fuel efficiency by using new automobiles with less displacement, etc. Adopting the mileage and hourly based maintenance schedule as is done in well-organized company workshops is also our aim to maintain the performance and reduce costs.

Finally, Sheger has a target to start operation as of 2003 E.C. with higher quality services and reasonable tariff.

Diversification Plan

Sheger mainly concentrates on participating in all aspects of the transportation system. It also intends to engage in related businesses to help the company grow. After three years of operation, Sheger will evolve in two major businesses.
